Tips When you are playing as the Allies, watch the airfields enemy interceptors are launching from. Bomb and fighter-sweep these fields the next day to take out the enemy fighters on the ground. When playing as the Axis, do not send too much of your forces to the initial raid that you pick up, because it can often be a decoy. Plot your intercepts to harass a bomber stream over the length of its route, instead of doing one large cluster attack, which leaves you without any follow-up ability for quite some time. Regarding fighter combat, escorts should have at all times at least one group flying high cover at three to five thousand feet over the main group.
